The Unstacking Co. grew out of work we were doing for years with the Third Culture Kid TCK) population! TCKs experience higher rates of developmental trauma, grief, and mental health challenges than monocultural individuals (those who live in their passport country all of their developmental years). At TCK Training we offer a preventive care approach so that children living a globally mobile life can thrive and grow in resiliency through their circumstances.
But, we’ve found…
that over the years, those outside our niche TCK service were asking for our materials and methods! Because, as we say, “What is good and helpful for TCKs is good and helpful for anyone!”

we began bringing our tried and true materials and trainings into schools, counseling centers, and family care oriented companies. But, if you ever wondered the origin…

What is a Third Culture Kid (TCK)?
Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are kids who spent part of their developmental years living outside a country in with they have legal citizenship with the intent for repatriation.
These could be Missionary Kids, Military Kids, Diplomat Kids, NGO/IGO Kids, etc.
